Transaction fees

Payments made via the UnivaPay platform are subjected to two processing fees – a flat fee per transaction, successful or not, and a processing fee on a transaction. These fees may change depending on the type of business that is conducted, but they generally are around 30 JPY per transaction with a processing fee between 3.5% and 5%. You can view the fees in the merchant console after your account has been verified.

Before your account is verified, the fee will be set at 3.5% for test purposes. You will not be charged for test charges.
